Adria Contractors Inc. is seeking skilled Steel Stud Framers to join our team in Waterloo, ON. This hands-on role involves constructing and assembling structural components for commercial, institutional, and renovation projects. Work is fully on-site and requires adherence to building codes and safety standards.
Work Schedule: Permanent, full-time, early morning, morning, and day shifts.

Education & Experience
- No formal degree or certificate required
- 2–3 years of experience in steel stud framing or carpentry preferred
Work Environment
- Tasks may require working at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy or dusty conditions
- Projects include construction across multiple sites, including commercial and institutional buildings
- Safety equipment (steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles) required
Responsibilities
- Prepare layouts and measure materials in compliance with building codes
- Cut, shape, assemble, and join materials including wood, steel studs, and substitutes
- Build foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Mentor and instruct apprentices
- Maintain, repair, and renovate structures in various settings, including industrial plants and public facilities

- Bending, crouching, kneeling, and other physically demanding tasks
- Handling heavy loads and managing a large workload
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Must provide own tools and equipment
