About the Role
Matthew Serrano is seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to assist clients in maintaining independence and daily living activities. This is an on-site position with flexible working hours. Optional live-in accommodation may be available at no cost, but it is not mandatory.
You will provide personal care, assist with household tasks, and offer companionship to clients, including adults and persons with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene.
- Feed or support clients during mealtimes.
- Launder clothing and household linens.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Maintain a safe and organized home environment.
Requirements
- Education: Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1–7 months in home support or caregiving roles.
- Languages: English.
- Ability to work on-site (no remote work option).
- Must demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Capable of performing a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and repetitive tasks.
