- Supervise technical staff
- Evaluate efficiency of production sites to determine adequacy of personnel, equipment and technologies used
- Develop risk management plans
- Design, develop and implement information systems business solutions
- Co-ordinate and monitor budget and departmental resources
- Establish inventory and quality control methods
- Oversee the preparation of engineering technical reports or other documents
- Execute full lifecycle software development
- Evaluate the performance and reliability of system designs
