About the Role
A private household in Trois-Rivières is seeking a responsible Child Caregiver to provide full-time care and support for children in the home. The role includes supervising daily routines, preparing meals, transporting children, and assisting with personal and social development. This is an on-site position with no remote work available.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for the household when parents are absent
- Supervise and care for children
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Organize activities, games, and outings
- Help children with homework
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Tend to children’s emotional well-being
- Take children to/from school and appointments
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Wash, iron, and press clothing and linens
- Maintain a safe and healthy home environment
- Cook meals as needed
Requirements
- Languages: English or French
- Education: Secondary school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 2 years
- Must work on-site (no remote option)
- Non-smoking environment
