Role Overview
Ericsson is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead supplier evaluation, negotiations, and contract implementation within the site services category. The role requires strong procurement expertise, supplier relationship management, and strategic decision-making to drive cost efficiencies and value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and select suppliers for the site services category.
- Conduct supplier negotiations to maximize value for Ericsson.
- Ensure proper contract terms & conditions are in place and followed.
- Manage key suppliers according to Ericsson’s Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) framework.
- Achieve sourcing KPIs, including cost reduction and supplier consolidation.
- Maintain and enforce a Preferred Supplier List (PSL).
- Oversee the RFx process to drive optimal supplier value.
- Ensure 100% compliance with sourcing policies and processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
Experience & Technical Competencies
- 7 – 15 years of procurement experience related to network rollout or management services.
- Experience handling complex technical procurement.
- Telecommunications industry experience is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- Expertise in sourcing practices, contract leadership, and business strategy.
- Understanding of local laws, regulations, and supplier markets.
