Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants should meet the following qualifications and requirements:
- Hold a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or an equivalent qualification, with a minimum grade of D (Plain).
- Possess a valid driver’s license with the appropriate classes required for operating passenger and commercial vehicles, in accordance with the latest National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) regulations.
- Have a defensive driving certificate issued by a recognized and accredited training institution, demonstrating knowledge of safe driving practices and road safety principles.
- Provide a valid Certificate of Good Conduct, confirming a clean criminal record and a high standard of integrity and professionalism.
- Have at least five (5) years of proven driving experience, preferably in a role involving the transportation of senior management, executives, or VIP personnel.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of traffic laws, road safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance procedures, with the ability to operate vehicles safely under different road and weather conditions.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with passengers, colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Be dependable, punctual, and capable of maintaining confidentiality, especially when assigned to transport senior officials or handle sensitive assignments.
- Exhibit a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering safe, reliable, and efficient transport services while representing the organization in a professional manner.
